Our Commitment

Wustler® is an exclusive lifestyle brand which started out with sustainability in mind, which will always be an integral part of our brand. Although our commitment to sustainability is a constant effort and learning curve, we believe that we at Wustler® do our best to contribute to sustainability through different ways. As for now, we would like to consider ourselves a conscious brand as despite our constant efforts, we are still far from being considered a truly sustainable brand. As an independent brand and business, it is our duty & promise to stay honest, and to constantly improve on different aspects of our brand within our means. 

These are some examples of how Wustler® is contributing to sustainability:

We take pride in only selecting signature fabric blends which are kinder to earth: Wustler® Silky Rayon & Viscose Fabric Blend (the OG), Wustler® Pure Mulberry Silk (Wustler Luxe) & Wustler® Buttery Bamboo (coming soon). We do want to acknowledge that every fibre & fabric blend has their pros & cons in terms of sustainability, but we ensure to contribute towards our commitment by always deciding on the best & most suitable fabric option among all the choices we manage to source for - besides searching for more environmentally-friendly fabrics.

For every exclusive collection, we focus on creating only classic, trend-defying and versatile designs & products that are meant to transcend seasons, to encourage consumers to shift from temporary trends to enduring timeless pieces. We also produce our pieces in limited quantities to avoid overproduction, and we strictly work with professional & qualified manufacturers who practise ethical production and provide fair working conditions. Our fabric blends are also produced using non-toxic and more environmentally friendly fabric dyes, with some certified according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®.

On top of these, we are a business member of ‘1% for the Planet’ and dedicate at least 1% of our total sales to our nonprofit organisation partners such as Women's Earth Alliance (WEA) through '1% for the Planet' annually, you can read more about this below.

As a proud member of '1% for the Planet', we are committed to empowering women and protecting our environment. Here at Wustler® we dedicate at least 1% of our total sales to our nonprofit organisation partners such as Women's Earth Alliance (WEA), through our '1% for the Planet' business membership annually.

'1% for the Planet' is a global movement inspiring businesses and individuals to support environmental solutions through memberships and everyday actions. It is an international organisation whose members contribute at least 1% of the annual sales to environmental causes. Their mission is to "build, support and activate an alliance of businesses financially committed to creating a healthy planet." "When Women Thrive, The Earth Thrives."

Women's Earth Alliance (WEA) equips women with the skills and tools they need to protect our Earth and strengthen communities from the inside out and has trained over 5,000 women leaders. They, in turn, have reached 6 million people. In some of the most environmentally threatened regions, WEA leaders are closing dirty energy plants and forwarding clean energy projects, advocating for water, land, and air protection policies, preserving indigenous seeds and cultures, launching regenerative agriculture projects that sustain our communities, drawing down carbon through forest and coral reef conservation, and removing toxins from our environment and our bodies. Read more about what the inspiring WEA does here.
